Most clients report minimal discomfort. If the patient experiences discomfort, a topical anesthetic can be applied to numb the area. Your comfort and happiness is our most important goal.

The tattoo can last several years, but touch-ups may be needed over time to maintain its appearance.

Recovery is usually quick, with most clients resuming normal activities within a day or two. The patient must carefully follow the aftercare instructions to achieve optimal results.

3D areola tattooing can be performed on any women that have had breast reductions or breast augmentations, transgender women that have had breast augmentation and find their areolas too small or uneven, or transgender men that have had full mastectomies and find their areolas too feminine. It is also applicable for cisgender men that feel that they have a very small areola or that they want to enhance the color of their areola.

Insurance can be used for this procedure if the patient’s original surgery was covered by their insurance and was classified as medical necessity. If their procedure was cosmetic, then the procedure most likely cannot be claimed on their insurance.

Normally between one or two sessions are necessary to achieve the best results.
